Well I know the meet just ended this past Saturday, but the winter is approaching and there are not to many racing days left.

On Nov. 5th there will be an Open Track day which means that Any car of any class can attend and it looks like this might be our last meet at Englishtown Raceway Park for the year of 2006.

I called the track up today and they said that the gates open at 8am and racing begins at 10 am which means we can go straight to the track and no to a park, although that was fun.
When I spoke to the lady on the phone, I had asked if we can get our own lanes and she said highly unlikely but she said to contact Paul later this week.
If anyone is familiar with Paul, and can maybe get us a couple lanes, give him a call (732-446-7800). (Josh, Hint Hint :biggrin:)

Saturday is Street Muffled Vehicles Only for Time Trials, Corvette Challenege, Pro 8, Trophy Marathon, and Classic Muscle Series 3.
Im not sure if our cars can get some runs in that day, but I will find out this week.
If we can get runs in that day, this will turn out to be a 2 day event and a hotel may be needed for some members, but all this info will be confirmed this week.

This time, I would hope that whoever missed it last time can participate, and even some vendors can join in.

Let me know who is coming, and dont wait to the last minute because Nov is right around the corner.

this is rich with the red gc srt8 that was there saturday...im in for that day...put me down!!!!

Boy after a day, the list is really coming along.
Hopefully we will have more GCSRT8's there.

There may be a date change for the November meet.

I spoke with Joe (DistinctSRT8) and he spoke with someone over at E-Town and they had told him that if we come on Nov. 18th and 19th, that we would have our own lanes.

Also, whoever usually stays at a hotel can also do that since it will turn into a 2 day event (BigBob, your help will be needed here if the dates change)



On Nov. 5th, its pretty much anything goes and they cant do anything for us, plus he also said it would be less crowded on the 18th and 19th.



Do you guys think we should switch the dates from the 5th to the 18th and the 19th? (Someone can start a poll if they want, but I just wanna get an idea if people would like to switch dates and then I will work from there and start an Official List for the Final Meet of 2006)

If my truck is functioning properly, I will be there.

since i will be out of town on the 5th, later dates would be better for me.

WEell as of now the dates are on hold.
HHP Performace said they are working on a date for the year end of 2006 and I will update you guys as soon as I hear.
I doubt its Nov 5th, so your looking good.
