I havent tinted this vehicle yet and not sure if Im going to. About 6 years ago I had tint on my windows and got nothing but $hit for it. Im older now and take things easier, but it seemed like the cops would show up to check your tint at the worst possible time (passanger with some weed...maybe the driver :)) Im getting my balls busted all the time for the acceleration in this thing, I think I might be paintin a big bullseye on myself if I tint 'em up. Then again looks killer....

Just got 20% done on both front sides. Just waiting to get yanked over by the law. I will pay the fine cause I am not going to take it off.

Did the fronts with 28% yesterday. It looks badass. $75 fine = "User fees". It only sucks if they make you take it off. Edmonton Police aren't too bad, but the RCMP in St. Albert and surrounding areas are less forgiving.

When I got pulled over in my other car with tint, he gave me the option of a ticket AND I peel it off right there, or a ticket AND I get towed away. Tint is hard to pull on the side of the road.

Dr Nick, you got it like I did. I had to peel the tint off on the side of the road, and it came off in stupid little strips and triangles. I wasn't even finished- window looked like $hit, but I had about 75% of it off the last window when I was told to have a nice day. This happened on a trip back to visit my parents. Left that glue residue/haze on til I could clean it. This happened in Revelstoke (pop 8,000) on my way to Kelowna.

Same lousy thing happened to me with an Innisfail cop out on the highway by Red Deer. Choice was pull it off on the side of the highway or he was towing the vehicle. I guess they have nothing else to do out there.

A friend with an R/T Magnum was telling me the other day that they CAN NOT tow you for tint. Not sure if I believe that, but maybe someone lawyerish on here would know.
