I am looking for an aluminum or chrome differential cover for the rear. Anyone know where I could find one (strictly for appearance).

I'm new to this RWD axle thing, so I don't see the advantage to just changing a cover. Is it purely cosmetic? DTS is right down the road from me, so it would be rather ewasy to swing by and have them change it if there is any advantage to it. DRIHEAT 10-08-2006, 08:23 PM The Jeep comes with a dull black painted stamped sheetmetal diff cover. A cast, polished, finned, bright aluminum cover just looks better. That cast cover does serve a structural purpose helping make the rearend stronger. If they make a gurdle style for the 44 it would do the same. 2MCHPSI 10-08-2006, 10:24 PM They do. It's $140.
