Will post picks today or tomorrow, but picked up my 2008 GCSRT8 last night. Brilliant black is absolutely gorgeous, and I put 25 miles on it for the 2 mile drive home from the dealer. Thanks to the board here, I noticed that the race pedals had not been installed, so they put them on. I had told the manager earlier in the day to ensure that the exhaust tips were aligned, that the PDI was well performed, etc. He said the rush on this car's prep, and oversight on the pedals, was due to the fact that they had gotten 2 SRT8's in last week and in doing the final PDI on my car yesterday, the one he picked for me had a steering fluid leak and a seal had to be replaced, so he quickly got them to check the other car. It had 7 miles on it when I picked it up and it is awesome so far. The only other thing is that the tire pressure monitor says that the tires have 45 psi, when it should be 33-35 or so. I guess I'll back that down today. Finally, if you saw my previous posts, you'd know I was considering a pre-owned silver 2008 GCSRT8 (6k miles) at the same dealer. I looked at it and it looked great, but the brilliant black won me over. I sh*t you not, it's a fantastic color to me. But, I recommend the silver one as I am sure you could get a good deal. It's at River Oaks Chrysler Jeep in Houston.

Thanks again to the board for responding to my posts and for providing helpful hints and thoughts in other threads. :bananahump-slvrathl

Also, my printed material that came with the truck included a sheet on installing the kicker, but I did not see the kicker, so I assume it was not part of my car.

OK, so here are 3 pics. 2 of the GCSRT8, and one of my M5. I'll try to get better quality this week, and pics of the interior, which is sweet.

Goode Company Taqueria is awesome for burgers, mexican food, and margaritas! If you go by R.O. Jeep on Kirby, ask for Ken or Randy. They helped me out alot. I'd be happy to call for anyone who wants a deal on the silver '08.

Nice, I went and drove that silver one this weekend. Drives really nice, but there's definitely a difference between it and my buddy's 07 w/ Predator and BWoody intake. I wish I had the money right now for an 08, but I'll probably be looking for an 06/07.
