My brakes lasted 19k before pads and rotors needed replacing. Dealer quoted me $1600 for parts plus labor. I bought R1 rotors and pads for $650 and had them installed at a local shop for $140.

Go aftermarket. I wouldn't put the stockers back on.

Where'd you order those from? R1's site lists them a lot higher.

BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Call GSM and get their drilled and slotted rotors and Satisfied brake pads. Around $800 bucks and you'll be a happy camper you did.

R1 recently (within the past few months) increased the prices on our rotors, they used to be $500 for the set of four, not anymore though. . .

Hey!!
Yea, the dealer replaced my rotors & pads for free the 1st time. By 20k miles and the were shot again and not covered anymore. I went to R1's and GS5 pads for a total of 650.00 and installed myself. After 10k miles more everything is still great and barely worn. Aftermarket is the way to go!!! Screw the factory setup........

My very first mod was ripping the stock rotors and pads out and putting DiscItalias and Centric Posi-Quiet pads in. This was before the R1's or anything else was availible.
