My GCSRT8 has 8000 and so miles and I noticed a spray of a liquid that seems to come from the water pump. Took my rig to the dealer and my suspicion was confirmed. There was a small leak coming out of the pump. They will replace the pump under warranty........ This the third issue on my rig in a year. The first one was the O ring in the transmission that caused a huge oil leak on my garage, the second was the Pirelli's run flat tires that worn out in no more than 3000 miles and now the water pump. Well...... the car is a lot of fun to drive but there is a trade off....... you loose your peace of mind!!! Miss my old honda........... :mad:

Then go buy another Honda if you lose your "peice of mind" that easily. ALL cars have problems, Honda's included.... The o-ring/bushing leak in the transmissions is a KNOWN issue....the "Pirelli" run flats you speak of are not sold here in the US so I can't comment, but 3,000 miles sounds rediculous unless they were a very sticky compound tire.

Your leaky waterpump sounds like an isolated issue. Just stick it out, the dealer is there to support you and they are fixing everything under warrenty, so what is there to complain about?

HOW could you miss your old Honda when the Jeep is 100x more fun to drive? Don't sweat the small stuff, Honda's have their issues too.

Well the guy is in Brazil, maybe that ads to the frustration as far as good service techs go.

My GCSRT8 is an export unit made on Austria addressed to the foreign market ( I am currently living in Brazil )and it comes with some sutler differences from the US unit, one of them are the Pirelli's run flat....... They suck.........I know the problems I am having are not too important but being my third GC..... the Daimler@Chrysler engineers should at least fix the same old problems the older GC had.....

Hmmmmm we have a very good tech support here..... it's just kind of VERY expensive.........but being under the warranty.....is not a big problem, but that doesn't lessen my frustration of having to take my car to the shop for repairs......

That is very true, just things you can't really do much about. You just have to ride it out and everything will be ok.
