Hey guys,
I've noticed in both autostick mode and Drive that when launching from a dig, first gear never goes past 5750RPM yet second will go to 6,500 RPM. It's really confusing me...lol. I thought autostick let's you change it up manually....but before I get a chance to, it does it for me at 5750 RPM. I think it's haulting my 0-60 times...

I may be wrong here. I recall reading in the manual that it does that to protect the gears or something.

The model year and flash calibrations are needed by me to make an accurate answe,r the more I learn about the cals and whats happening the more I need accurate data.

Mine is even worse, I put the question to the SRT Engs. about the Trans shifting before 6000 RPM but got nothing but double talk as a response. Mine is an 08.

They've restricted the power in 1st gear in the 08's ALOT. I remember in the srt expierance with the 07's/06's you would haul ass around the autox in 1st gear. 1st gear in the 08's is a total dog. Ironically if you leave it in drive you'll launch like an animal. Go figure.
