So for those who did there tinted tails themselves, how many coates did ya do?

Depends on how dark you want them and what products you're using (niteshades, hobby lobby model tint, paint/clear mix).

We used the Model Tint from Hobby Lobby on my tails of one of my trucks and on the clearance lights of another.


Just do light, even coats until you get the desired darkness and then a few coats of clear. You can wetsand if you need to and reclear.
