Hey fellas,
New GC srt-8 owner here, just wondering if anyone {definitively}knows the lowdown on wether or not the GC is subject to any tsb or recall relating to the coolant like on some of the other srt-8 vehicles.
Mine does not smell like ammonia {but I only have about 200 miles on her}
but it does look somewhat cloudy.
I have no sediment buildup in the tank that I can see or on the cap {unsure if its just because I have no mile son it yet}
Would like to head this off at the pass if its a read concern..
Any help would be appreciated..

Yes, I am not sure if there is a TSB for us but mine had it and has been flushed once already. The tech who works on my Jeep noticed it and said mine is not the first GCSRT8 he has had come in with it.

So, if my research is correct, I can add part number 68029698aa to the existing coolant, or flush and fill it.

If I wanted to flush and fill it myself, what would be the best coolant?
Still stick with the zerex product, or has anyone used a diff. one?

{sorry for re-hashing issues, but this vehicle purchase was a BIG deal for me, and I want to avoid any future issues like this}

I am not sure exactly what it is called but the tech used GM brand coolant in mine. He said he did that to a cop car (charger) that had the same problem twice and it took take care of it.
