I found these pictures on the blue site. Props to Armadillo, who produced the pictures.

This kit is from Heat Motorsports ($1200), and is mounted on a SRT8 Charger. Does anyone think this kit can be mounted on SRT8 GC's. Surely a tune is necessary to take full advantage of this system, but the owner claims .2-.3 just from this system (he gained .2-.3 on a flash as well).

What do you think? Could it fit the SRT8 GC? Would gains be possible??

Yes, the battery would have to be relocated...

I think if we could get someone to build a tuning device we could get easy 1/2 a second in the 1/4 mile, but as far as getting 2 to 3 tenths from this intake is highly doubtful. In order to make up 2 to 3 tenths I think you would need around 40 to 60 HP and to get that from an airintake, hmmm No
It looks cool though!

Realistically a 90mm TB upgrade might gain us some power, but a dual snorkel/filter set with twin TBs is way overkill. On a good day a worked N/A 6.1L engine might ingest 700cfm, which a single 90mm can easily handle. I wonder how they're handling the engine management situation.
After reading the post on the blue site, it appears some of the gains are also due to a ported intake.

it deffinatly wont fit in the jgc srt8 due to the huge cooling fan infront of the intake, i had to cut some of the cow off to fit my k&n in there so to make this fit youre going to need to do alot cutting and possibly even sacrafice the fan or maybe even get a smaller of like the regular jeeps have, but i dont know im no expert

I totally agree with you.

plus, how this would produce big power? maybe 10-25HP but i dont think this will take you more than 30HP.. Naa ,, noway!

TOTALLY overkill. A single CAI would do just as well. EXCEPT maybe in a true twin-turbo setup.. But even then, overkill.

Looks great tho.
