Hi! My name is Florian from Germany. i am looking forward to buy a GC SRT8.
So thats sound nice, doesn't it:D...but the average price of an SRT8 in Germany is 50,000-60,000 Euro. That are $70K-$85K for a vehicle that is available in the US for about 45000 $ ...with the same configuration. Now i am looking for US Army or other military members who are based in germany owning a GC SRT8 and willing to sell it. I don't know if it's realistic... (How many guys are based in germany and owning an SRT8 - dunno), but maybe it would be a great deal...for me and the seller!

As an alternative i already thought of importing a SRT8 from the US and shipping it to Germany. Does anyone know dealers in the US (maryland baltimore or new york - preferred because of international harbors shipping directly to hamburg, germany) who have experience in exporting Jeeps to Germany?

It would be great if someone could help me...

What did you have in mind?? Tax and customs in a "*****" over here. I would consider saleing mine for $50K. I live in Germany BTW...

of course tax is horror... 10 + 19% but if you do the math...brand new cherokee ...lets say 45 000 $ + 2000$ shipping, 1500$ german conform mod.... 48 000$ + 10% tax and 19% sales tax... here we are.... 60 000 $ ...that are 40 000 €... price at my local jeep dealer in germany 56 000 € ...

maybe i am considering shipping it from the us...offers always wanted... so PM me!

I am in Germany (Landstuhl area) and my 08 will get to Bremerhaven on May 5. I can't wait! I wish the NAV would work over here, I'll probably change it.

I'm just curious... what is it about these trucks that attracts you German guys?? Why not buy the new Cayenne that came out, or a ML63??

hey Jred... a cayenne or Ml costs about 100 000 $ with same power as the srt8 has...even slower... But the main reason for this fascination is the uniqueness of this car. I haven't seen a srt8 cherokee yet, BUT lots of Cayennes and MLs...(in Germany)...
