Just need to know what to expect that cost to be since my brakes are squealing like a mother and after 20,000 i'm sure the tires should go too.

thanks

I think the brakes wore prematurely. And the alignment was wrong up front as the interior of my tires up there was shredded. I can't say I'm all that happy about the prices I've gotten. Tires (replacements of OEM Goodyear runcraps) came out around $400 apiece, but that's mounted, installed, aligned, balanced, whatever...but it still seems a bit high, but do that math and that's about $1600 bucks. Brakes I was told would be about $1700 bucks. I mean, I know it's a high performance vehicle, but it's still a Jeep.

It's hard to believe you've been a member for over a year.

Welcome d11s.......get used to having some of the members that have been here awhile making useless comments instead of giving answers. They sometimes forget what it was like being the new guy. They rather tell new members to do a search than just give the answer that they most likely already know. When they need a question answered though they do not hesitate to ask rather then do a search themselves, and they expect immediate answers. :p

Hope this helps:

The search key is your friend. I can't believe you been on this board for over a year and are asking these questions. You have me puzzled.

Well no worries, I appreciate tomfoolery and hijinks. But upon further review, my friend the Search Button has revealed far too many instances of inexplicably poor brakes and hapless Jeep mecs. I got guys on message boards conjuring up techniques and tricks to prevent brakes from squealing on a $50,000 vehicle? No thanks. It just is further evidence that Chrysler quality control and competence is still in the tank and no wonder Daimler unloaded it on that unsuspecting investor group. Love the GC-SRT8 for what it is, but I knew I shouldn't have taken a chance on an American sled. It's really an embarassing problem for them to have.

I guess bridam's not detective material. I think it's harder to believe you can't conclude that with just 6 posts, I'm obviously someone who registered long ago and never participated until now than it is to believe the data stating my tenure, lol.

WHY SHOULD WE SEARCH WHEN I HAVE FRIENDS HERE WHO KNOW AND CAN TELL ME, LIKE YOU MATT

For a time I had a BB-Triflo exhaust system on my M3, with the then-cool DTM tips, and had a favorable opinion of it even though I dumped it for an AC Schnitzer system the next year. I'll get a BB system for my Jeep if Billy Boat has taken his stupid face of the website when I check it.

I am probably the dumbest person on here...the stuff I know about my Jeep, I know because of this forum! So, I really can't help you out Bill...but I can tell you how to search! Hahaha!
