I just picked up my Black SRT8 on Saturday (only 120 miles to date). Puts a huge grin on my face every time I start it up!!! Go (OIIIIIIO)!!!

Had few questions:

I know the oil change is Mobile 1, (I used that in my 03 4.7HO), how many quarts does the 6.1 take - couldn't find that in the owner's manual?

Also, did your vehicle come with a jack, &/or a bottle of "fix a flat"?

Congrate on your Jeep (mines black too, and I LOVE it) and welcome to the site

First, make sure your manual has a Red SRT-8 Jeep on the front and says "SRT-8". If not, then you are one of many who got delivery without it. Also, break-in period is 300 miles - no speed above 60, and no full throttle from a stand-still.

i believe the oil volume is 8qts.

There is no jack or "fix-a-flat" either. The run flat tires should get you 50 miles when flat.

As for the manual, I noticed after getting home that I was given the general WK version. Talked to the dealer today, they will order and have it for when I pick up my registration.

Thought it was screwed that there were no specifics, etc.
