I installed HIDs and sometimes one of the lights will not come on. I have to turn them off then turn them on again to get them to work. Does anyone elses lights do this?

Did you install your HIDs using a relay harness?

Yes, I did on the main lights but not the fog. However I had it happen to both sets of lights on different ocasions.

Possibly sounds like a a bad ballast, but I would highly doubt all 4 ballast are bad. 2 for the headlights and 2 for the fogs...I would check connections and make sure everything is secure. Sometimes it even helps to unhook it and plug it back in since it is electrical connections after all

How much did you pay for the kit?

Its the connections - I've had the same issue with my installed HIDs on occasion.

Just reconnect the side that repeatedly does it, you may want to check the wiring at the headlight also to make sure its plugged in well too. Also you can have the issue of having the plug miswired on some HID kits (some tend to confuse +/-) so make sure your hooked up correctly that way as well.

Considering he has 4 HID bulbs (2 LO and 2 FOG) that means he would have 4 Ballasts. I find it very hard to believe all 4 ballasts are bad. Check all the wiring, I will bet thats where the issue is.
