I have has my 06 GCSRT8 for about 2 months now. I was wondering:

1. I have alot of little scratches on the wheels. Whats the best way to remove them?
2. Is there anyone offering our wheels in chrome or where may be get our wheels chromed? I am not a fan of polished wheels.

These are not scratched from damage. These are light scratches from day 1. I noticed them the first time i washed it.

They are clear coated, so use any product that you would use to take light scratches out of the paint. I use Tropicare swirl cutter for this type of problem. I have one spoke on one wheel with light scratches on it...I plan to try 3M hand glaze first then the Tropicare if the glaze isn't agressive enough. I really don't get the warm fuzzies about the finish on these wheels staying nice over the long haul but hopefully I'll find an aftermarket wheel I want before they get too bad.

These are scratches in the metal. It's pretty normal for factory, mass produced, polished wheels. Polishing the clear coat won't make any difference. To get them out you will need to remove the clear coat, have them professionally polished and then reapply the clear coat.

If the scratches are under the clearcoat then that is a warranty issue and the wheel(s) should be replaced by DCX.

They aren't going to replace them. This is normal and in spec for a factory polished wheel.
