We went racing last night at the only thing open ....1/8 mile track here in Irwindale CA.

The Jeep we are running is the GSM base Supercharger kit(6lb) and a Magnaflow exhaust with our ESP/fan mod

We had over a 1/2 tank of fuel unfortuntly and I was busy try to stall up the converter on the line and cut a really slow light, but the rest of the run was all Good

we will be running at California speedway 1/4 mile next week

time slip data

s/c srt jeep 06 modded vette(long tubes exhaust, intake ect)

r/t .915 ouch ---- .615
60' 1.72 :D --- 1.95
330' 5.21 --- 5.35
1/8 mi 8.11 --- 8.09
mph 85.30 --- 90.87

Again this is our base 6lb kit we will turn it up next week to run a low 12 or 11 second pass, The pass at the 1/8 mile track was equal to a 12.6 in the 1/4 mile in full street trim.>!

Linky no worky.

It works, the video takes 3-4 minutes to load...

Even with the tardy launch, the SRT8 looked impressive. I am impatiently waiting for the 12 psi video!

We are keeping our test jeep as close to stock as possiable with the addition of the Supercharger of course so it represents what the avgerage customer will see with the s/c installed .

Also it is scheduled to go to the magazines in the next couple of weeks.

6ps s/c kit
esp/fan mod
magnaflow cat back

That link doesn't work for me either. I firewall everything off - XP calls home on practically every Windows Media Player link (and every other function). Mac guys, don't get me started, you'd be shocked how much info Steve Jobs has on you. If you email the video to me, I can host it on an oc-192 server (multi-peered). I get close to 30 mbit (3 megabytes per sec) with Boost downloading from that site.

GinterVonHelsig@gmail.com - cheers.

In fact, any video clips, of any type, CAI, exhaust, cat removal (before and after) I can host. I'm going to start a FAQ page for the Jeep SRT8 and make it publicly available, with no BS.

BTW, barring 3 sets of HID 8300 Kelvin (lo, hi, fog) lights, my black (all options) SRT8 is bone stock. Next mods will be to rid the car of those awful paper speakers and the ridiculous navi radio (when the new Mopar navi comes out) and slap in 4 10" woofers. Then CAI, headers, cat-back, lo-compression stroker kit, and a big SC (waiting for more options). The 6000 rpm redline is ridiculous, at best (even tho it's raised from 5000, as in the 5.7L HEMI). The 6800 rpm mod is a must. A pushrod engine can juice it up to 8000 rpm, as demonstrated in the Z06. BTW, the engine is NOT a true hemi. It's more of a cone than half a sphere, but the valves ARE opposite each other. I guess propaganda wins again.

The fun begins.. I've had so many kills on the road it's not even funny. Blank stares from "sports car" drivers. Heh..

Cool board, btw. This is my first post. I'll have a full write-up of what I've compiled so far in the coming days. Ratatatatatata..
