Beltfed 09-14-2006, 08:17 PM Nope, cupholders are black.....07s should have them color coded.
ResumeSpeed 09-14-2006, 08:21 PM Definitely an '07, no doubt about it.

So basically there are no changes to the SRT interior for 07? Unlike previously stated.
radduc 09-14-2006, 08:44 PM The paint on that Jeep looks AWESOME!!

forget the cupholders....scroll to bottom and look at sticker...build date is 09/06...more importantly, look at position 10 in vin number....that is the model year info in any vin #...it is an 07
Untouchable 09-14-2006, 08:48 PM I would say that it is as well . I notice the small Boston Acoustic emblems on the speaker grilles that I didnt see on any 06s I have come across

Great, so Jeep didn't do s*it to the interior....oh sorry, the BA emblems.

Well they did redesign the window switches, but the ones on the '06 models are nicer IMO. The taillights are also different. The dash was supposed to have a new "soft-touch" material but from the pics it's hard to tell, doesn't look any different to me. Maybe they are using up the rest of the leftover '06 dash parts!
QBNKID 09-14-2006, 09:51 PM I thought they were also supposed to have the wing standard on the '07s...
Maybe by mid year they'll add more stuff to it, but for now it looks pretty much like the '06 to me.
Blown-WK 09-14-2006, 10:39 PM Hmm I figured there would be more changes. I wonder if it received the updated PCM with a little more power.
Behairy 09-15-2006, 04:17 AM I have a feeling that this is a transition period model from '06 to '07... 2007 GC SRT owners could you confirm please ?

Taillights look cheap. They are trying to get away with less electrical.
whats different about the tail lights? I just don't see it.
SilverSRT8 09-15-2006, 11:29 AM I want to see the keyfob on the 2007. Can we get their key fob with remote start and have it work for ours?
Just have to have the parts for the remote start?
I just want to have it all on one key.
Beltfed 09-15-2006, 11:47 AM whats different about the tail lights? I just don't see it.
The red portion is now more open, uses 1 bulb instead of 2.
You can sort of see it in this photo, bulb is in the center.
I personally don't think saving on electrical was the motive for the change. Then again, what do I know.
Don't see how it looks cheap either, its the same housing (doesn't look really any different).

I see it now. thanks for breaking that down I probably would have never noticed that.
jordo9998 09-15-2006, 12:27 PM there is also one little change I noticed.. On the back of the car where the smaller tail light is above the lift gate. The little plastic knob that pops out of it on the end where the windshield fluid sprays out is RED the same color as the plastic on the stop light so it blends in more, as for our 2006 models are black knobs...

I'm not impressed. I'm glad I saved money on my 06 srt8. these 2007 will not be able to give much of a break on them... as for the camera in the back. i love that, but it can be added just as easy.
I do like the boston emblems on the speakers, but not that much to pay $$ extra for the car hahaha... upset about the soft dash :( I wish they used it.
I tired to run a search for the boston speaker emblems to add them on to mine but it seems there is no one who sells them not even ebay.
any one know some one who has them? could I get them from the dealer in the parts area you think?
jordo9998 09-15-2006, 12:41 PM I also just noticed another slight change..
The lower part of the bumper thats always black on all the car colors.
The plasic is more smooth and not grainy like on the 06 models.
ResumeSpeed 09-15-2006, 01:18 PM Don't see how it looks cheap either, its the same housing (doesn't look really any different)...
Note the horizonal "lines" that go from top to bottom on the side of the taillight...
Untouchable 09-15-2006, 02:03 PM yeah, the plastic on the front is different too. probably in response to our paint peeling issue
Beltfed 09-15-2006, 02:10 PM Note the horizonal "lines" that go from top to bottom on the side of the taillight...
Yup, to section off the bulbs.
That's why I said more an "open" look with 1 bulb.
I should have been more specific.
JeepSRT 09-16-2006, 04:56 PM There is another one on ebay also, And it has the same nav unit as the '06, also no soft touch dash. What's up with that?
Untouchable 09-16-2006, 07:57 PM maybe they are trying to use up the part bin before shelling out more bucks which they dont have on the new stuff:rolleyes:
my car is not for sale:)
PorscheSRT8 09-16-2006, 09:47 PM Why are the pedals not aluminum/bright? They are just plain black rubber?
FKNFAST 09-16-2006, 11:03 PM My aluminum pedals were in a box in the back of mine when I bought it. It was too late for them to detail so I put them on myself.
PorscheSRT8 09-17-2006, 08:04 AM Didn't know that - makes sense then. Thanks for the clarification.
