On my way home from Sam's today, I caught a light next to a gen1 Viper GTS with a 997TT behind him. I noticed him check me out for a second and then go back to talking to his passenger. I rolled down the window and politely asked him if he wanted to run on green. He gave me a quizical look, but raised his revs a little and waited for the green. Let me tell ya, that felt like the longest light ever while waiting for the light to change. The second that light turned, we both laid into it and By the other side of the intersection I had 1/2 to 1 car lengths and proceeded to pull that to 1 to 1.5 before he finally caught traction. I was watching him in my side mirror and his rear end was all over the place. Once he finally got some power to the ground, he proceeded to make up some distance, but did not pass me until around 95-100mph. I knew it was coming, but I'm happy I held him off that long. :cool:
