2800 is the correct total for U.S. models, but includes 115 pilot and internal lease models. That would leave 2685 for retail sales although some of the internal lease models do end up on the retail market. WKJeeps.com has VIN's to verify every single one of the 2800 models that were built for the U.S. (3,172 for all of North America).
