I'm switching to 265/45 fronts and 265/50 in back.
The only two brands I've found that make this size are:
Toyo Proxes and the
Yokohama ADVAN ST
What's your preference?
Thnaks for the advise. Cheers!!!
I have had only one set of Yoko's but I did really like them a lot. They were on a sedan though. On SUVs, I've had 5 sets of Toyo Proxes and they have all been excellent tires. As long as there are Proxes in the sizes I need, I'll never use another tire.

don't like either one
well what would you prefer..
I have had damn near every brand just because of different sizes and applications and for this truck i think a toyo would be great...

I would buy the michelin PS2's 275/45/20 front and back if you want the same width. I don't know why your thinking about going with a bigger sidewall in the back than in the front.

aren't the srt8's staggered from the factory? the rear rims are an inch wider...
Yes, they are staggered. 9 up front and 10 in the rear.

I would run the BFG g-forces 265/50 in the front and the 295/45s in the rear. these are a closer to the same height. the ones you have choosen are about an inch difference and this will cause the loarger tires to wear fast or chew up some gears trying to spin them at different speeds. the factor tires are only off .2 in the Circumference and off 1 revs/mile the others are off alot more and not good for your jeep. these tires are great i have them on my srt-8 ram and they will fit you rims too.

If you want performance you might look at Nitto 555's. If you want mileage the Proxes are a good tire, but they are harder.
