Has anyone removed material from the rear bump stops yet. There is only 1/4 inch travel and bottoming out is inevitable. Thinking of removing about 1/2 inch from the rear stops. This should not present a problem that i can see. Any thoughts or experiences??

Just thought i would test the water to see if anyone had done this on the jeep before. I have done this on late models, while lowering the vehicle, but it is usually necessary.Think i will try it to see if it improves rear ride harshness over rough railroad tracks, etc.

RM360 lowered his vehicle, but I forget the method... Maybe he trimmed his springs.
