lowering my 2006 Jeep

i am thinking about lowering my 2006 jeep srt8.
i was just thinking about cutting a half coil in the front and a 1 full coil in the rear, has anyone else done this ? if so could you let me know how it works out?

No...Don't cut the coil springs...Buy a set of lowering springs made for your Jeep

Bwoody or Eibach makes them specifically for our Jeeps!

i was just trying to get out of spending $400+ on springs when i could cut them lol
