http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=63-1549

I've been waiting for this, and it was finally released.

This is one of my preferences for performance.

If anyone is interested in a group buy. Please show your interest by replying to this thread or contacting me directly.

The price will be $300 or less depending on quantity of buyers.

This price includes shipping to your door, garage, or pole barn...

Yep, I saw that thread previously...thought someone might have some firsthand experience with both.

Re: K&N Cold Air Intake

Just got done installing the K&N cai and I am disappointed in the fit...I had to cut away some of the fan shroud to get it to fit...decent chunk of it. The instructions say for a 5.7 and the 6.1 SRT 8 Jeep, but the instructions were clearly for a 5.7 and included some steps that didn't pertain to the 6.1 and other areas were just plain vague in details. It is quiet as a mouse in normal driving...will have to take her for a spirited run later to see if it makes some noise.

Re: K&N Cold Air Intake

I'd obviously prefer our kit. It out performs Mopar and k&n. We've had some happy customers take theirs off and replace them with ours. Just a touch of info for you...and it's $299 all day, everyday. Polished or Satin silver, you pick.

Please post the results that prove your claim "It out performs Mopar & k&n".

Re: K&N Cold Air Intake

Here are a few picks of my K&N setup...regarding the cut radiator fan shroud.
Hopefully the pics have optimized from Digistash...

This pic...the beige/stone colored areas is my driveway...this setup has no bottom (which I like):
