Cool Custom CAI

Wassup everyone.. I have been looking around for different sources for an air intake. On my second purchase, I got the volant.. Pretty good..It has been 2 months with it and now im wondering if it could get better..i mean honestly, it just looks like a cooler version of a drop in filter w/ a hole on the bottom for a snorkel..so i did upgrading. In "shady tree mechanic" style, I pieced together a four inch tube;starting where the volant tube ends, all the way to behind the passenger fog light. it still has that huge filter which came with volant. and it is snuggled behind the wheel well so no rain from the tire can get on it..for the most part, i can drive it unless there is a flooding..with that i have to get the 4 inch bypass to connect to it..i nearly went deaf with the loud suction noise when my friend stepped on the gas.. better response time than volant, especially at hot temps..will post pics soon.
