CAI Question

I have the Mopar CAI...and when I pop the hood, I see a ton of dried up dirty water all over the CAI tube. It seems like the whole CAI assembly is somewhat dirty. Is this normal for water and such to be hitting the whole CAI?

Re: CAI Question

i have the gs intake also... no rubbing but i do think its a piece of SH*T package. yes they all get dirty. the jeeps have very good air flow under the hood. dirty engine bay more often is a side effect of this.

Re: CAI Question

My entire engine compartment gets dirty especially after driving in rain/snow. After driving in snow (salt), you can see where the engine gets splashed which is basically everywhere.

Re: CAI Question

I've also got the DUB. I wash under my hood when I wash my car and it still looks like the engine hasn't been ran!

Its from the radiator cap.....the center is leaking water when it gets to temp.......replace it with a Stant 11334 .....or take it to the dealer for a new cap that will fail again.

Re: CAI Question

I don't think it is antifreeze...but I will take a closer look. Thanks for the heads up!
