installing dub air intake

anyone who has installed the dub air intake, how long did it take and would it be easy for a beginner gearhead? ive put on cold air kits before but not on a car that costs as much as this and i do not want to f* it up. also, will a k&n recharger kit work to clean the filter it comes with?

Re: installing dub air intake

The price of the vehicle has nothing to do with the install. I have been doing mods like this for 50 something years and believe me this is one of the easier ones. The only thing you have to be careful with is the temperature sensor. I put a little shot of wd-40 to mine before I pulled it out. Take the plug off first, and then pull the sensor straight out.You can twist it back and forth but keep it straight. The rest of the install is easy.Good Luck.

Re: installing dub air intake

I have the DUB - 30-40 minutes, easy install, especially if you have done CAI's before.
