New Mopar CAI design?

We are all used to seeing this routing for sale on eBay.

However, the other day I ran across another design that had a longer intake tube and looked to place the filter pointing down in the fender. Of course, the eBay auction is gone so I can't post a link, but I did find this one that looks similiar. And before it is asked, yes they advertised it for use on a GC SRT-8.

I'll keep looking for it to see if they put it back up. Filter in fender is better than filter in box underhood.

Is this the one you were talking about:

Edit - looks to me like this is the one we all have already seen.

Re: New Mopar CAI design?

Nope, that's the current design (maybe old design)

Re: New Mopar CAI design?

Never trust Ebay pictures, only go by part number. I believe what Barho posted has a picture of the Liberty CAI, not the GC.

Exactly, I'm guessing they used a genaric pic, good chance it was the 5.7 one you posted because the seller doesn't know there's a difference. Volant makes one now too.

Re: New Mopar CAI design?

Found it & it looks like a mistake:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=150073111189

What prevents this routing from being used?
