GSM Intake/Mopar Exhaust.

I added a Mopar Exhaust and a GSM intake over the weekend, and I am getting 1MPG less. Does this make sense to anyone? I went a whole tank of gas driving on the highway as I always do, but this time I didn't floor it and kept the RPM's low. Thinking of switching back to the stock intake with a drop in K&N. Any Ideas for what I should try?

Re: GSM Intake/Mopar Exhaust.

It is not an exhaust issue, I am certain of that. After switching to the Corsa, I netted a 3 MPG increase.

Does K&N make a drop in for the 6.1? If so, what's the part #? The only drop in I have been able to find is made by AirRaid.

Re: GSM Intake/Mopar Exhaust.

I think you need to give it a couple of more tanks before you change anything. There are all kinds of different factors from one day to the next that could cause a change in MPG (could have had a slight head wind?).

Re: GSM Intake/Mopar Exhaust.

i just thought of this? When upgrading the intake and exhaust, was I supposed to reset the computer or something?

Re: GSM Intake/Mopar Exhaust.

k&n does make a drop in filter (#33-2233) they also make an intake but if you do want an intake just order the mopar intake

Re: GSM Intake/Mopar Exhaust.

The rule is if you make a performance change that you should disconnect the negative battery terminal for at least 15 min.
