Mopar Exhaust Install??

I am installing my mopar exhaust tomorrow, anyone else done it at home in their garage? Is it pretty easy or should I take it somewhere?

Thumbs up Re: Mopar Exhaust Install??

I did the install at home this week and it went fine. Just make shore you try sliding the pipes into each other before you start. I had to remove part of mine because the ends had to be opened up a little and it was to hard to do under the car. The hole install only took about 45 min. Good look!

Re: Mopar Exhaust Install??

It took my dealer over 3hrs(they installed the exhaust&CAI for $65 so I let them get dirty) . They said the pipes wouldn't slide freely together, I would check the fit before you get under like stated above. The rubber hanger must be lubricated, my dealer may not have done this, I watched them wrestling w/the tips.

Re: Mopar Exhaust Install??

Its rather pretty simple with some basic hand tools and either ramps or a jack and some jack stands. 45min. to an hour is a pretty good estimate.
