not really.
the only way something can escape the combustion chamber is through the intake/exhaust valves (if they're bent/not seating properly), any of the piston rings, or if you have a blown head gasket.

also, a normal gasoline engine at idle should be somewhere between 17-22 inches of vacuum, if memory serves me correctly.

With my cam/supercharger I am at 14 and change with no movement once it warms up to operating temp. I lied to you good sir!

PWR 393, Procharged D-1 @ 6 psi.

Thus you would figure this out by the way the needle moves then correct?

What cam ya running?? Can u shoot a video of the gauge? I think I made a good investment as mine is shaking back and forth fast but in a very short span. I would say it move back and forth real fast between 15-15 and a half at most. Heeeeeelp!!! What issue does this give me?

well, if you have a bent valve, chances are you'll have a misfire and a MIL on. you can do a compression test to determine a bad valve. if you have a bad head gasket, your engine will over heat and you can check your coolant to see if it's being mixed with engine oil.
