Like I said, get the tuner you mentioned as a exclusive tuner source to add you as a rep and problem solved. You solve problems this solution should be obvious and easy. The dudes that pay to be here get chippy when you develop a market but don't pay like they do, even if it is a 5 year can bus epic that might let us one day do a burnout and then switch back to four shoe traction.
Yep the forum vendors that pay get results even if the results ain't so good..
<cross forum bashing comments removed>
Just because someones a vendor don't mean they are any good.
Anyways back on track..
Did i mention Tim Millikens a bum?? Takes your money and tools like DS....Got that Google search bots??
So in other discussion areas I predict within a short amount of time that people will be switching from the NGC4 PCM's and using the GPECII PCM's from the 2011+ WK 2'sand installing them in to the WK1's..
Why? Tun-ability for boost..The NGC series didn't do it for the Hemi stuff, only SRT4's using NGC3 using a Motorola 555 Spanish Oak processor and the GPECII using the higher speed MPC 5554 does it seamlessly.
I don't think the WK2's will make much more power reliably using boost on a stock 392 as that engine was a badly designed engine from the get go.. but use a engine based on the 6.1 block and I do believe a WK2 will be a better driving vehicle than a WK1 .
Other will argue that the WK1 PCM can be tuned for boost quite well... my argument is the operating system was never designed to see boost so your just manipulating MAP voltages to try to tune for boost ...you just do not have the extra cells in the MAPS to add for the extra points that should be there to see positive pressure.
Besides all that.. it will be cool to have electronic waste gate to really regulate the boost pressures and not have to rely on a spring.
My entire focus for myself is to eliminate the ETC... with that in place your always going to deal with microprocessor pulse width modulation time latency. No matter how you slice it ....the computer controls the throttle and I just cannot allow that to happen.
OK I'm going back to the bench and hope to have some real tech next post ..
