New Colorado owner: 2012 SRT8 Grand

Making it official..... looking to stop the lurking and getting involved!

Purchased our '12 SRT8 WK2 in November and enjoying the hell outta this incredible wagon!

Won't be doing much to it since we enjoy a warranty, but we will have some fun at Bandimere Raceway on occasion.

Mods so far:
-Tinted front windows
-Clear bra
-Yokohama Parada Spec X tires (replacing the garbage Pirelli run flats)
-Exhaust resonator delete

Future mods:
-Cold air intake
-Oil catch can

Anyone else here HATE the front door holding detents???? The distance the door opens from the first detent to the wide open detent is rediculous...... I've never had to worry about ME giving another car a door ding before. And having to try to reach out to shut the door when it's that wide open is nuts.

Other than that, the wagon is awesome!

Here's our ride parked next to another RARE Jeep vehicle - a 1 of 3 JK Brute Conversion experimental. No VIN number on that rig. Was being prepped to ship to it's new owner in Costa Rica to serve as a resort grounds maintenance vehicle.

Huge friggin' resonators. They're similar in size to a motorcycle gas tank and weigh probably 15 lbs each too. Good riddance!

New pipes and the new Yokohamas.....

Welcome and enjoy. Looks like you have a few good mods and some good future mods planned.

What didn't you like about the Pirelli tires?

Colorado roads suck for the most part and those Pirellis were just too stiff...... The ride was like rolling on a skateboard. They would make a good track tire I suppose but after two weeks we got real tired of the bone-jarring.
