Been lurking for a few weeks now checking out your posts and drooling over some of the work you all have done from the engine builds to the visual mods. This will be my second SRT and will be replacing my 2015. I did a factory order build that was completed Feb 28th and arrived today. Unfortunately it arrived too late today so I couldn't get it prepped until Monday...sigh! I have already planned on my first mods:
* black out all of the lettering
* tint my front windows
* find a second set of rims so I can have mine powder coated black
I did a sunroof delete, red seat belts, light weight forged wheels, and two piece rotors. I know people have gotten both the SRT as well as JEEP logos on the steering wheel, but I got JEEP and not SRT. I will post some more pics once I have it picked up Monday.

I like them so much better than the spider monkeys that I have now, but wish the Satin black ones would have been an option from the factory then I would not have to send them out to get done.
Beautiful! I would not let the dealer prep it...they just put tons of swirls in it. I would have the truck coated and let the detailer do the paint correction. Mine had tons of swirls from dealer prep, and I took it to be coated the day I got it.
I wish I would have thought of that, but I guess my finish on the 2015 from them didn't have swirls so I din't even blink. I am going to cross my fingers and should know in about 1.5 hours.
I figured I would share a couple of quick snapshots and a few personal thoughts on differences between the 15 to 17. I got the car with 9 miles and I think it says 71 tonight in the garage.
1.) Steering is completely different feel. Without the pump it just feels like there is no resistance anymore.
2.) The upgraded brakes and rotors--hand of god and smoooooth like butter! Wow is all I can say and that they are so much better than my 15.
3.) I like the new interior without the sunroof. The pillars and roof material are not as nice as the 15 with a pano, but I like the extra headroom and the way it looks with the quarter size lighting. I would not change my decision to delete the sunroof delete for one second!
4.) I am in love with the color.
5.) Fog lights -- 100% better coverage and much better spread.
6.) Non-adaptive lights. No complaints yet, but will give them time. I don't seem to miss them at all.
7.) I know some have mentioned issues with the bump during downshifts. Definitely different and noticeable after reading the comments. My build date is 2-28-17 so I have a very recent build which from what I read and should have had the patch. I don't seem to mind too much.
8.) I need a license plate relocation bracket so I don't have to drill my front bumper. Any suggestions?
9.) Absolutely love the red seat belts. I think this should be standard and not an option!
10.) The new Jesus handles are good. I like the front placement versus the ceiling placement.
I think if you liked your SRT, which I think most of us do, then you will love a 17! This opinion might be slightly biased lol.
Sto N Sho just made me a relocation bracket that's removable for the 2017. No drilling required. Give them a call. Excellent quality and looks as good as it gets for a plate relocation bracket. 10 minute install.
