Question What is the Max HP the 4wd Transfer Case is Designed to Handle?

The max HP that a stock transfer case can handle is what? 550? 600? maybe 650? Does anyone know before doing mods that exceed stock drivetrain capabilities?

With a transfer case its more about torque... but if I remember right, the transfer case was lifted from the European diesel Cherokee so it would be built tough. I don't think they're will be any trouble unless you go crazy with boost or nitrous.
