T-Stat Help

Okay so I have read plenty of blogs about how we should lower the T-Stats on the Jeep SRT but I am not quite sure how to actually go about swapping the two out. If someone could be kind enough to explain how to remove/replace my old T-stat it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: T-Stat Help

Remove big tube from air intake box to throttle-body so you have room. Take off thermostat housing with two bolts. About a half gallon of coolant spills out so be ready to catch it. take rubber sealing ring off of old thermostate and install it on new thermostat. Reinstall making sure the rubber ring slides in straight (it is easy to pinch and pull off of the new thermostat). Refill coolant. Clean up mess. Done.
