Thumbs up 180 T-Stat installed

Did my first performance mod tonight with the help of my brother (thanks again) and it is working as designed after first having air in the system. I was acctually worried I had just screwed up my Jeep, but after getting the air out the temp now stays around 187*-195*. I must say the pedal did feel like it had a little more behind it but I guess it will be track times that proves it.

Re: 180 T-Stat installed

I finally had mine installed yesterday. Took a while to get used to seeing the temps so low!! I love it.

I went with the stant. Cant remember the part number off hand. I'll get back to you. But with the tstat, and fan mod, I ran my best times at the track yesterday. 13.22 @ 103.05. My highest trap speed before was 101.56, and my best time was 13.4. Definately made a difference.

At autozone, the "4128" is the 180 degree motorad/valuecraft thermostat that they sell. It's 63.5 mm diameter (stock is 63 mm), so you'll need to grind down the edges a bit to have it fit without cutting up the rubber gasket.
