Moto Rad 4127 or 4128???

I just arrived home from Autozone, and the half-wits at the counter were clueless about thermostats. I gave them the Robert Shaw/MotoRad # 383-170, and they still could not find the proper part. Long story short, I bought both the 4127 and 4128 thermostats. Which one is the 383-170? What is the difference between the 4127 and 4128??

Tell them to pull up the cross reference page. It's listed as a Valucraft 383-170. They can find it with just the 383-170 nomenclature.

I tried that Stroke, but these guys were mentally lethargic. I remember Aaron saying 4127, but you saying 4128?

Switch store location!
I followed the numbers from GotStroke? (383-170) above last week and they had NO problem pulling out the correct thermostat in about 2 seconds. I am liking the 170 better each day. I cranked my heater from 68* to 72* and it seems to put out the same heat now in the interior. It will certainly reach 200* in traffic with the oil about 215*. Where it is most useful is with a manual fan switch to keep it at 170* when you want to cool the HEMI down.

The 4127 is the 170 (176) and the 4128 is the 180.
