Best Thermostat?

Hey Guys, Im just wondering what is the best thermostat available for an 07 GC SRT8?! Thank you!

2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 (Black) w/ 22" wheels
2007 Chevrolet Suburban (Black) w/ 24" wheels
2006 Jaguar XKR (Black) w/ 20" wheels
1988 Cadillac Eldorado (Black) w/ 18" wheels

I'm sure you will get many opinions on this, but the real answer is that the ONLY thermostat that is made for this engine is the OE one. Even the manufacturer of that part does not list an aftermarket replacement (and they have the biggest catalog in the industry).

Yeah and the stock exhaust manifolds are better than true longtube headers, the stock air filter flows more than an aftermarket cotton/oil cone...Please. A thermostat is a theromstat, and the hemi is a pushrod V8, there is no magic or anything else special there.

The best T-stat is the MotoRad/Robert Shaw/Valucraft 383-170 from AutoZone.

So far BuilderBill has found two tenths in the quarter with the above stat. See post #39: Raced at Rockingham yesterday with the new '07 JGC SRT8
