E Fans

Guys just curious if your suv's come stock with E fans? The TBSS comes stock with a belt driven fan hub but some have put Efans on and it made a big difference

Re: E Fans

Absolutely they do. Loudest fan I have ever heard. I am sure it is efficient because it spools up like a jet engine.

Yeah, the e-fan mod is really popular for the Lightnings/HD F-150s as well. I was planning on that mod before I sold my HD for the Jeep.

Re: E Fans

yeah, alot of people doing it. i'm going to do it, but i'm waiting to see what one vendor comes out with. supposed to be plug-n-play and 100% factory computer controlled. which is what i'm about lol, if it makes it easier on me i'm all for it. i COULD wire it up like everyone else is having to do, but i just don't have the patience for it most of the time

Re: E Fans

yep, SRT did a great job on the fans, we're seeing anywhere form 10-15RWHP and 25TQ from removing that clutch fan (many called BS, until they dynoed one for themselves).. I also noticed today on a SRT8 at the shop that SRT ALSO put a Beautiful trans cooler on the front of the condensor and the lines are 1/2" as opposed to the BS 3/8" lines we have.. I have to admit, you get what you pay for... But I could NEVER betray GM!! why I have no idea?
