Hey, not far from me.
Mine, being 2006, is one of just 76 in the UK, apparently.
Had it just over a week now and loving it. Just have to sell the GTO to make space in the garage.

Keep your eyes peeled for my ex SRT8. It's down near Alton so not a million miles away. You should notice it if you see it, lowered about 2 inches on coil overs and dark grey SRT8 alloys. Sold it on Tuesday Regretting it already!

Looks like you spent some money on it, too, Chris. You must have had an important reason to sell it.

I've just discovered I do, in fact, have rear parking sensors. I'd been looking for the lights over the mirror but they're above the rear screen :-)

Question: If I flick it into a gear manually, is there any way to get it back into auto mode apart from flicking it into neutral and back?

Rob

Yes spent quite a bit on it thinking it was to keep then set up a new business which took off pretty quick and sold it to buy a bloody van!! Not good, gutted. Anyway if you're in tiptronic mode hold the lever to the right and it should drop back in to full auto mode after a few seconds. There was a recall on these too so it changes up from first to second while in tiptronic so check to see if that has done. Mine also needed a EBC recall doing as that hadn't been done either. If you can afford it you've got to fit the BC suspension, it's just superb, like a go-kart

I've had 8 years of lowered suspension and trying to avoid speed humps in the GTO so I can empathise. I'll the keep the Jeep's set-up as it is.

Fuel consumption:
I'm assuming (hoping!) it's in miles per US gallon. It was showing 10.5 after a few very short distance runs over the last week. On a medium, mixed run today (gentle so as not to throw our dog around in the back too much), I got it up to 15.4 so that should be around 18.5 mpg. I can live with that after the GTO.
What's everyone else getting on a standard setup?

Ok, found the thread with a poll on mpg. Just wanting confirmation that the display is in miles per US gallon.
Anyone?

Yes - US MPG AFAIK.
In my "new" SRT8 I'm running on LPG and getting 14.5 - on petrol I get 19 MPG
I'm sure my last SRT8 never did better than 16.5 so don't know how that happened.

Also my 2010 SRT feels less firm a ride than the 2007 for some reason.........

Sad news. Filled up yesterday: 206 miles on 61.76l = 13.6gall so 15.14 mpg :-(
And it looks like I'm due for a 500+ mile round trip to Truro soon. That'll be over 200 !
