High performance Brake option from factory

I'd like to know what's the addition/gain when you have the "High performance brake" option, checked for 1295$ Can, when you buy/order a new Jeep SRT.

What's the difference with the regular Brembo brakes ?

Thanks !

The rotors are two piece and lighter weight.

Which just means they are more expensive to replace as well! Unless you're taking your Jeep to the track you'll never fade out the "standard" brakes nor would you notice the slight un-sprung weight savings. I'd probably still check the box, though, lol.

I finally choose a 2017 SRT with the regular rotor. The rotors look different than my 2014, they are slightly slotted, my 2014 had plained rotor. They we're changed before I bought the 2014, so maybe they did not put OEM rotors as replacement
