Sorry, I must have thrown too much info at you on the other site, here it is again, it took 2.2qts for mine...add .2qts more and maybe she drips out?:grin2:
other site post to you....

"have fun...let me know how much ATF you get in the transfer case, mine took way more than any spec in print and I followed additional advice from a jeep tech on here for true leveling since the TC is not vertically straight..."spec" ranges from 1.4qt to 2.2qt for my actual....here is my post on that one...I often over think things so pick your qty but "til it comes out" is just that...fwiw, the TC refill vol is known to be variable, which drives me and my sense of order nutz..."

MP3010 Transfer Case Fluid Capacity Confusion
Am I really way overfilled?
I never thought I would ask a “what’s the capacity question” but I have never had an issue like this. When filling diffs/trans cases I realize it’s a loosey goosey within 10% or so thing on refill quantities sometimes but that is usually because you can’t get all of it out so you can’t quite get all the listed capacity in. Sometimes the listed capacities are bone dry/factory fill and sometimes a “real” number. But my concern is the opposite.
The general rule for filling diffs and transfer cases is commonly “fill ‘til it comes out the fill hole” when level. Ours are no different and the SRT manual even says that for our MP3010. Normally not an issue but all sources say it holds way less than I put in.
My concern is mine took 70oz/4.4pts/2.2qts until it started to drip out the fill hole…wtf??? I guarantee it was dead nuts level too and after I exceeded the “capacity” I proceeded very, very slowly and once it was filled to the hole I let it sit for 30 mins to ensure any excess would drain out, barely any did. Did not measure how much came out during the drain but that is only a guide number anyway.
Here are any and all specs I could find for the MP3010:
(
Bold is the published spec and
non-bold is just my conversion to keeps things coordinated)
SRT Owner’s Manual.....................................................“until it runs out of the hole…level position”
SRT Hotline (in dealer tech database)..............................44.8oz/2.8pts/
1.4qts
Wk2jeeps.................................................................... 44.8oz/2.8pts/
1.4qts
Amsoil Product App Guide.............................................48.0oz/
3.0pts/1.5qts
http://sgnauto.com/public/pdf/oil_and_lubricants.pdf.....44.8oz/

Only had a master tech respond to the thread and say to fill to bottom of hole/1.4qts....I did fill to bottom of hole and it took 2.2qts
