Transfer case fluid

Recently had the transfer case fluid changed on my 2012 GC srt. The fluid changed was according to the owner's manual (NV146 fluid), however looking up online it looks like ATF+4 is needed instead.

I'm planning on getting the fluid replaced to ATF+4 ASAP, but wanted to know if I'm at risk for anything. I know on the WK1 t-case putting ATF+4 caused issues with the clutches becoming gooey. Since the MP3010 uses different clutches, I wanted to know if there was another adverse effect.

From what I've read here, only nv146 fluid should be used in the nv146. There's a lot of discussion about alternatives due to the frigging high cost but no one has any other leads on something else that's safe to use that I've read so far.

Don't know if it's different between the wk1 and wk2 however.
