You can drive around like that, but keep in mid that ABS is DISABLED as well!!

forza, did you happen to dyno before and after? please let me know how it's working. not sure how many miles you have logged and conditions but i would love to know how things are going with it. the jeep is bad ass right now and i want to be sure i don't waste the dough or screw it up. i would like to see Mike actually post a response to my prior message but understand if he can not. thanks

I drove around with it off all day. My only gripe is that it shifts too early out of first and bogs in secound unless you get into it more than half throttle. I found it was better to shift manually in this mode.

Like Mike said mabye 10 hp/10 more torque. But look at my times so far, and I have not mastered the new settings yet. I went from consistant 4.5's or more to 4.3's. My best quarter mile time before was 13.00 @102 to 12.8 @106. Its worth every penny in my eye. Plus you can read and clear codes, datalog, use it for gauges. I am going to be using it for my wideband gauge with my LC1. Go for it.

Magnuson Moss only puts the burden of proof on the OEM to prove that your modification caused the damage. Basically, if you install the tune and your AC goes out, it should still be covered under warranty. However, if you install your tune and break pistons due to knock because you had too much timing and not enough octane, the bill is on you. Removing the tune won't cover you as the dealer can tell how many times the computer has been flashed. A good tech/service department can tell a vehicle was recently reflashed as well. I can assure you there have been dealers that have declined warranty work, both rightfully and wrongfully, because of an aftermarket tune. Best thing you can do is have a good relationship with your dealer and they will take care of u the best they can.
