The shifters on mine are actually almost flush with the bumper and you would not notice them unless you were looking right at them. Im glad to know that yours perform well behind the grill so now I can tell my customers that they have alternative mounting locations.
I read that too, I know how they are supposed to be installed but I wasn't cutting the grill on my 300. It works like its supposed to so I'm good.

Thanks man! Been a LOT of work. Finally got the subs/enclosure done this past week and most of the system tuning done as well
