Got my piece back from the shop today and installed. It took them 3-4 days to complete the work, couple issues along the way, but it looks great! This is the mod for those that are serious about debadging
Exactly what I did. Plus driving the jeep with the part missing looks funny.
If it all works out have your spare made up to sell if someone wants it. There should be a high demand for black with everyone murdering out the black jeeps.
Called my shop, he said no problem we love doing shit like that....we'll see lol. He said he gets 35% off parts so I let him order it....I mentioned the $142 price so we'll see where he comes in at.
Well my attempt went horribly wrong, they kept redoing it and couldn't get it right....I give up! Its not horrible but its not perfect.....From certain angles you can still see the jeep ever so slightly. I can't capture it in pictures but its there. Couple of specks of dirt in the paint as well. If anybody want a 95% done piece let me know I will sell it cheap like $250

Well since my jeep is getting a seal on the transfer case replaced i had some free time. I wrapped the messed up piece in 3m carbon fiber, even got the button. What do you guys think? Yay or nay
Another company is developing these. Not sure if they are released yet for sale. I don't think they are yet. They are trying to do a shaved Jeep-less version. But it's not looking to good at the moment. The one is the pictures below is just a cover that attached above the existing. So it won't sit flush like the OEM.
From another forum. Looks like the company that's making these pieces threw in the towel on trying to make a "Jeep"-less piece. They are only going to offer what is seen above with the Jeep logo still there.
Hello- looking to replace the rear chrome "Jeep" liftgate piece for new hemi with a debadged red version. Please PM me if anyone is selling these yet so i dont have to have custom piece made. thanks.
How difficult is removing the entire eyebrow? I believe you need to access the retention screws under the trim on the hatch. Do the interior panels remove easily on the hatch?
Thanks for all of the help, Zac! I found someone local who is going to work on mine this week. I'm so stoked... Can't wait to get it back debadged and sexy. Thanks again!!
