Window trim blacked out with 3M Vinyl!

And what the fu*k is this?!?! I waited 6 hours for this. I said I wanted the 3M 1080 Gloss Black Vinyl. And 6 hours later, this is what I walk out to. Apparently, it's 1080 wrap but with a different adhesive to make it stick better. So pissed. He told me if I didn't like it he would do it over the right way, but he's not back in until next Tuesday, so we'll see how that goes. But has anyone who's ever had Vinyl work have anything like this? Who would want this over a painted look? It looks like carbon fiber, without the carbon fiber. The funny thing is that 3M can't even confirm what kind of Vinyl it is.

The guy gave me the cheaper, old style vinyl wrap. "3M™ Controltac™ Graphic Film with Comply™ Adhesive". The "Comply Adhesive" is what makes the pattern in the wrap. Now im pissed because he lied to me and told me its the same vinyl just a different adhesive. 3M 1080 is what I was supposed to get, but instead I got Controltac Graphic Film. Someones about to get a chargebackkkkkk.

Yeah...I would give them a chance to make it right. I can't believe they thought you would be happy with that.

Hell, electrical tape probably would look better. Lol!

He said to me "I probably shoulve told you before", ummm no f****** sh*t. If someone asks for something specific and you put something else on, dont you think you should run it by them first? But nope, I had to actually walk out to my Jeep to see it...and where was he? Inside.

Who wouldnt walk out with the customer and make sure the customer likes it and has no questions or whatever. Okay I need to stop talking cause im 2 seconds from calling my bank lol.

I wouldve rather took a ****ing sharpie to it.
