Did it have a different octane in it when it dyno'd 30hp(@5400RPM@9PSI) less with the same tune? I think that is why he is asking. Different Jeeps?

in my case i chose to go big fuel system..
i run your 93oct everyday on 9psi make around the 650-670rwhp.. i have yet to try e85 but when i do ill be keeping THAT as my 'race tune'
run tank low. remove fuel feed, extend to a drum and bridge fuel relay,, watch her drain in 20 seconds flat. connect fuel line fill e85. upload tune, drive away.. Well thats the plan..
here 93oct is 1.50 per litre, so in a gallon there is 4.2 litres so we pay 6.30 a gallon
or about 90 bucks a tank.. i can only imagine how many times i gotta fill if i was to run on e85 which is why i left it so long to do.. besdies,, i ran my my 10 so im happy on 93oct, TTCREATIONS FTMFW

930rwhp pump unleaded 93oct .... that is all
0-1000m in 17.8 sec @ 295kmh
quarter mile to come soon

I built my jeep to run e85.
2000cc Injectors, triple 340pumps, but there s been some difficulty tuning these on e85 at higher boost numbers.
Maybe due to the increased fuel needs. One can only postulate at this point.
I just stuck to running 93 and urt
Urt is badass. Tunes very easy

mmmmmmmm maybe the sheer volume requirement of the lighter density fuel cant be passed when 20psi boost pressure is pushing fuel back up the injector thus requiring the boost reference line, so if we require 59psi then 20psi on top just to keep the balance correct im assuming most of the fuel pumps wont be able to pump the flow at that 80 psi requirement, OR IT JUST MIGHT BE THAT 2000cc is not enough ..
i definately think this is why the shell urt would be better ,, becasue this effect doesnt affect it as much at this power level .. but be sure enough try make another 500hp ontop and 10 psi and the same effect will happen ..
i have never used e85 so i guess this is phenomenon ill encounter one day on a big build.

yeah but i dont think they are making 1500fwHP like some of our guys.
But then again cylinder pressure is cylinder pressure and inlet pressure is inlet pressure,
mmmmmmmmm i could answer this if i knew the problems you guys are having,,
as i said before if the issues are non evident Urt but with e85 there are only 3 variants,
fuel Density and the systems ability to deliver it and its chemical composition...

Little update on this Jeep. It had an aluminum Arrington engine installed at the hemishop
awhile ago. Running e85 on the street and c16 at the track. Didn't want to go further with the
fuel system to support the high boost fuel demand from e85.

Went to the track. Full weight, nittos drag radials, flat punch with stock converter
and stock tcm. Results on the right of slip.

It's Silver and Satin. It's got a handful of bolt ons. It's really fun.
