I think the Hellcat was embarrassed by the driver more than the Tesla!

I think that video makes the car look like a 700+ two wheeled power joke.

With this I wonder how many runs you could get at the track before that battery is cooked.

He can plug in to the coal fired electricity between runs. And if it goes bad they can always mine some more nickel, put it on a diesel fired ship and ship it to China. Then make another battery, ship it back, then load it onto a semi and drop it at the dealer. Fill up his other car with gasoline and go pick it up.

Can you imagine a world where dragstrips are as quiet as a library?
It'll bring a whole new meaning to the word "sleeper".
"Wake-Up...I think a Tesla just did a 5.5 in the 1/4". Yay!

Yea that's frightening.

I test drove a 2015 Caddy ATS 4 cylinder Turbo recently, the salemen told me it had a "soundtrack" implanted that would play thru the radio speakers everytime you hit the gas, so inside it would sound like it has a big V-8 under the hood.
On the outside it probably sounded like a 22" push lawnmower.
I guess it's what a lot of car makers are starting to do now, porsche, benz, bmw, caddy...
small displacement engines with big-ass tape recordings. Sadness.
