That's a TON of MPH. As much as I want to believe it, it is very hard to.

👀

I could potentially see the MS109 maybe helping to lean out a rich tune because it's oxygenated. But that large increase in trap speed is a bit hard to digest.

I suppose the trap speed could be possible... IF there is a perfect launch and the shift points are spot on. Even then, that is crazy fast. Would love to have a Trinity hooked up and see the logs.

If the new ECUs are like the ford ecoboost they may unlock whatever power is in the fuel, but the OEM engineers would have had to programmed in a wide timing window. Some of the newer ECUs will advance timing within this window every time you go WOT until it borders on the knock threshold. Such logic could produce some meaningful increase in power if the factory boosted setup on 93 octane required conservative timing.

Somebody needs to dyno a hellcat with race gas so we can see what really happens on this ecu platform, anyone know a SRT engineer they can ask perhaps?

Well i no what a 50/50 mix of vp109 did for my stock pig rich tune on my 2012 in the 1/8 mile. We no the white challenger in the 1/8 mile turned 7.17 @ 101 mph and the black one turned 6.80 @ 106 mph. So the black one was 5 mph faster in the 1/8 and 7 mph faster in the 1/4. In the last 1/8 mile the black one picked up 27 mph and the white one 25 mph. Looks like the black one did his BEST time in the 1st 1/8 mile and that was because of the drag tires IMO. It took the black one 3.68 seconds to go the last 1/8 mile and it took the white one 3.88 seconds to go the last 1/8 mile. Now this is if both cars were running the same % of vp109.

Well when you put it like that... it almost makes me believe it. I want to believe!

And didn't that burnout seem really... really excessive?

Don't know why there is so much thought going into this run. There's the video and the time. Plain and simple... you need to be asking how some of these stock WK2s are running mid 12s. No slips shown but no ones asking those questions

Video and a time, with some very big claims. That MPH is very high.
You wanna talk wk2s... There isn't a 7mph discrepancy with wk2s.
